If you are going to Georgia for the first time, you can walk around using guidebooks. Old Tbilisi, Narikala fortress, Mount Mtatsminda... Everything will be new and interesting. About those places where no guide can lead, except you have your friend and he is one of the locals: an enchanted road, inconspicuous cheburechnaya, the best casino in Tbilisi, the oldest church...

The center of Tbilisi begins with Freedom Square, on which stands a statue of St. George, the patron saint of Georgia and the namesake of the majority of the country's male population. From this square begins the old town, where you can just walk, drink wine, look at the fortress and do everything that decent tourists do. Walking through the streets, you can come across puppet theater building.

Of course, acquaintance with modern Tbilisi is impossible without the Bridge of Peace. The conspicuous building is especially beautiful in the evening when the lights flicker. Nearby is the Shangri La complex - a casino and restaurant managed by Storm International, Darren Keane is a managing director. A great place to spend an exclusive evening and dine overlooking the Bridge of Peace and the river.

On Holy Mountain, which in Georgian is called Mtatsminda, is the Narikala fortress, right in the center of the city. There is also an enchanted place on Mount Mtatsminda. Nothing remarkable, just an asphalt road among the trees. You stop the car, take your foot off the brake pedal and watch the car start rolling... uphill!

From Freedom Square to this place go different buses, but to see the wow effect, it is better to go by taxi. You need to make sure in advance that the taxi driver knows what it is about, so as not to roll back and forth on the mountain with a map on the phone, stopping at each slope.

Another little-known place in Tbilisi is the Anchiskhati Church (Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary). The only "wow" is age: the church was built in the 6th century. Next to it there is an abandoned church, to climb on it is more interesting. And if you really want to check near an important church, then you should choose the Church of the Holy Trinity. This is the most important and the highest church in Georgia. It is written in reference books that its height is 111 meters, but this is not quite so. 111 meters is if you measure not from the floor to the dome, but from the very bottom of the steps. After plenty of sightseeing a big house with a golden roof, you can walk down to the old town and have a meal with the most delicious pasties in the city. Near the metro Avlabari there is a bank branch. At the end of this building is drawn a beautiful mural with a chameleon. In the same place, in 100 meters, there is a monument to characters of the film "Mimino".

If you go down by foot from the metro Avlabari down and cross the river, you will return to the same old city. Right in front of you will be the restaurant Pasanauri. Their sign reads: "The most delicious khinkali!" - and they are telling the truth. Take their khinkali "Pasanauri" and enjoy.

In the same building a little to the left there is a shop winery Khareba. They sell the best wines of Kindzmarauli and Khvanchkara. Kindzmarauli, by the way, can be taken on tap - this is the same wine, but in plastic containers. The store is unremarkable and, in order not to pass by, just look narrowly behind the glass. It is located in the same building as Pasanauri, literally through one or two doors.

If you turn the corner, you will see the famous Tbilisi baths. This is a classic tourist spot. Everyones go there, but only a few go inside, and for a good reason. Local prices are quite reasonable. And Pushkin bathed in the "motley bath".

Tbilisi's Stonehenge is another special place. The monument is called "History of Georgia", constructed by the sculptor Tsereteli. It is located on the coast of the Tbilisi Sea and is worth a close look. Impressive! The Tbilisi Sea is a great place for country rest.
